Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, May 27, 2010: The Kerala State Minister for Industries Elamaram Kareem today told that the all party meeting was held for discussing matters regarding the NH road widening to avoid rumors against CPM party. Minister added that since the Centre had expressed their stance to increase the NH width to 45 meters, the further decision would be taken in the cabinet meeting regarding NH development.

Defending T Balakrishnan, Industries Secretary for his pro-Coke remarks, Industries Minister Elamaram Kareem said that the idea presented by Balakrishnan was not against the stand of the government.
