Thiruvananthapuram, Tueseday, 08 December 2009: Special cabinet subcommittee meeting to discuss price hike for primary goods will hold today. Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will chair the meeting.

Finance Minister Thomas Issac, Food and Civil Supplies Minister C.Divakaran, Co-operation Minister G. Sudhakaran are the members of the subcommittee.

The committee was formed in accordance with the suggestion of the LDF meeting. The government has decided to commence 100 Maveli stores and to invest 150 crores in stoke exchange to face the crisis.
