Kochi, Wednesday 28 Jan 2009: The Kerala Cartoon Academy and the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry are jointly organised ANIYUG ’09, a two-day cartoon animation festival from February 5 at the EMS Cooperative Library, Kakkanad.

The objective is to create awareness on the increasing career opportunities in the animation arena, especially within the country. The worldwide animation industry too is passing through a transformation. Experts from the fields of cartoons, animation and media have been invited to participate in the seminar, where they will share their observations, experiences and also provide guidelines for the budding aspirants.

The two-day interactive festival will thus provide a very useful forum for students and professionals to identify the opportunities that are available aplenty and tap them, said Sudheernath, secretary of the Kerala Cartoon Academy.
