Kannur, Tuesday, April 12, 2011: The Kannur town Police has registered a case against Abdulla Kutty MLA and 100 other UDF activists for violating model code of conduct during the conclusion of the public campaign for the Assembly polls.

A month long public campaign for Assembly polls came to an end on Monday at 5 p.m. The campaign should be suspended during the 48 hours preceding the end of polling, according to Section 126 of the Representation of the People Act.
