Kochi, Monday, September 12, 2011: The CBI probing lottery cases, seized documents from 24 offices of lottery king Santiago Martin. The documents would be presented in the Ernakulam chief judicial magistrate court in the coming days.

30 CBI officials from Kochi, Thiruvananathapuram, Chennai and Coimbatore took part in the raids. It was as per the demand of state government that the central has asked the CBI to probe the case. CBI began probe after providing the initial reports on 32 cases in the court.

The police team which first probed the case was of the assumption that Martin might have gained an additional Rs 3000 crore as profit by selling fake lottery tickets.
