Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday, 01 May 2010: Asianet Cable Vision (ACV) honoured Malayalam Film Song category which completed 70 years, today at Tagore theatre in the evening.

Gaanagandharvan K.J Yesudas, Musician M.S Vishwanathan and other senior singers P. Jayachandran, P. Susheela,, K.S Chitra, M.G Sreekumar were among the prominent singers who graced the occassion with their voice and presence. Also other young talented singers had accompanied the senior singers in the stage.

‘Chakravarthini’ was chosen the Kerala’s Most Favorite evergreen song, from a list of hit Malayalam songs. The famous musician M.S Vishwanathan distributed the awards to Yesudas, Bharathi Varma (wife of Vayalar Rama Varma),Leelamani Devarajan (wife of Devarajan) for their contribution to the music.
