Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, September 03, 2010: KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala today slammed Finance Minister T.M Thomas Isaac for challenging like a boxer on the lottery issue. Responding to Isaac’s statement, Chennithala asked Isaac to reveal all the facts. He said the UDF would send a representative for the open debate to be held on September 9.
He said the stand taken by Isaac and the Chief Minister vary. Thomas Issac today had informed that he was ready to resist all the allegations that have been raised against him regarding the Inter State lottery row. Minister informed that he does not want any kind of support from others including his own party in this issue.
Minister affirmed that he was ready for open talks regarding this matter, which would be held in the Kozhikode town hall on September 9th and that he was ready to reply to any questions that would be raised regarding the same.
While giving an interview for a private channel, Issac added that he had invited Opposition leader Oommen Chandy and KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala for discussing this issue but they did not respond to it.
