Kochi, Tuesday, March 30, 2010: The seventh accused of Kozhikode twin blast case Shammi Firoz was presented before the NIA Court today morning. The Court granted him permission to record the statement secretly before the Majistrate Court.

His statement would be recorded in Chief Judicial Court as per the criminal norm 164. Earlier Shammi Firoz had filed a plea before the Court to make him an approver as he had no intention of committing the crime and was totally trapped.

However the Court had also pronounced non-bailable warrant against the other accused Azar, Yusaf, in the same case, staying in foreign countries.
