Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, June 10, 2009: In the midst of all high voltage political drama in the State, much to the surprise of other comrades Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan has once again sung a different tone that of his party, after the routine Cabinet meeting speaking to scribes VS Achuthanandan backed the Kerala Governor’s decision to prosecute CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan.

He said, the decision of Governor should not be given wrong interpretations and citing similar decisions made by Governor’s in other State Chief Minister said, its not a surprising decision.

VS Achuthanandan added that, he will not backtrack from his earlier decision.

Refusing to reiterate Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Vaikom Vishwan’s allegations that the Governor has violated constitutional responsibilities, Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan said, close study is needed on this matter.

Yesterday, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Vaikom Vishwan had accused the Governor of throttling the Government.

My Sincere good wishes to H’ble CM who is backing the fundamentals of the Indian Constitution and his desire to fight high level corurption. I do not understand the moral or any other justification of accepting crores of ruppees as a commission or say donation for any social purpose for a major govt. contract. Infact the contract value should have been reduced by Rs. 100 crores to KSEB and as a good will KSEB can donate the same amopunt to Cancer Institute. All the other methods are corruption.

Double Role of CPM for a Fall Guy (poor vijayan)

It seems to be a drama by CPM to show that we are protecting Vijayan while CM acting as the tormentor. CPM knew that Vijayan has to go..
