Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, November 24, 2009: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan today severely criticised Union Minister of State Shashi Tharoor and advised him to take some lessons from the life of his predecessor VK Krishna Menon, who once represented Trivandrum constituency in the Parliament.

Inaugurating the state level ceremony of land deed distribution to the landless here,Chief Minister pointed out that Tharoor always arrives late to functions and makes de-grading remarks on the achievements of the state government.

Chief Minister said had Tharoor was present at this ceremony he would have seeked the Minister’s explanation on what happened to the promised central aid to the state in connection with the recent flood.
