Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, December 24, 2008: After the weekly cabinet meeting Chief Minister while informing the cabinet deliberations to scribes said, the Government will acquire land for construction activities of Palakkad coach factory on fast track basis. Two land acquisition units would be formed for this.

Also, Chief Minister said private investments should be encouraged for the development activities of the State.

Chief Minister reminded that private investments and privatization are different.

Regarding the severe set back that the party received at Shoranur by- elections Chief Minister said the party would make careful analysis of the reason behind the failure.
