On first place give our police a new uniform, which is modern looking and definitely NOT the KHAKHI. This Kakhi Uniform the remnant of colonial sepoy era has to be changed. Police shall be unique in outlook and format, and they should not wear the same colour that auto drivers, taxi drivers, municipal sanitary workers, etc are wearing. Their dignity should start from their uniform. Howlong they are going to keep this long lathis, does not our goverment have fund to give and train them with modern batons and combat gears. Or our mindset up wont change ever?
police uniforms shud be dark blue as it is the color of the police world over ,less heavier belt and short batons cud make policemen smarter andagile
