Kochi, Wednesday, 09 December 2009: Kerala High Court today said that Government has the obligation to prevent compulsory religious conversion. Educational institutions are not the places to preach religion.
High Court urged the Government to prevent these practices legally like other states of India. Since 1999, in Kerala, compulsory conversion in the name of ‘love jihad’ is common. More than 4000 girls have been cheated for ten years.
