Don’t fight publicly: Cong tells State leaders  

New Delhi, Thursday, June 10, 2010: Mohsina Kidwai, AICC general secretary in charge of Kerala, has put a gag on Congress leaders from making public statements on matters connected with upcoming organisational elections in view of the fresh factional tendencies in the party. Kidwai added that the Leaders and activists must not breach party’s discipline.

had written to Kidwai pointing on the breach of discipline inside the Congress party. Kidwai added that the matters regarding the organisational elections must be discussed inside the party.

P C Chacko MP had recently made a statement against in connection with the polls.
Soon after Chacko’s statement, it was the turn of K Sudhakaran and K C Venugopal. This prompted the congress to ban them from making open statements.

Kidwai has asked the leaders not to share opinions with the media and had also asked them to maintain party disciplines.
