Kochi, Sunday, December 14, 2008: The State Conference of Congress I will begin today in Kochi, the conference will be flagged off at Mahatma Nagar in Kochi’s Marni drive today 11 o’ clock
Sonia Gandhi who will arrive tomorrow evening will be attending the conference on December 15 and 16 and will also inaugurate and address a rally of congress workers on December 15.

Defence Minister A K Antony, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi, AICC general secretary Mohsina Kidwai, senior Congress leader K Karunakaran and Opposition leader Oommen Chandy will be among those addressing the rally, he said.

External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Puducherry Chief Minister V Vaithalingam, Union Minister G K Vasan, AICC general secretaries Mohsina Kidwai and Karunakaran will also participate in the function.
Six resolutions, on economic, political, organisational, anti-terrorism measures, Centre’s achievements and a chargesheet against the State government would be tabled during the conference.
