Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, February 10, 2011: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan today said that he will continue to fight against corruption. He was responding to the Supreme Court verdict on Edamalayar case.
He opined that the Supreme Court verdict on Edamalayar case as a warning for all those who loot public money and misuse power. Pointing that he had to fight for nearly two decades to ensure the guilty gets punished, Achuthanandan refused to answer the allegation by Balakrishna Pillai that he is a victim of personal vengeance. In an indirect reply, the CM claimed the verdict by Supreme Court as an answer to all the allegations and accusations against him.
The Chief Minister added it is the first time that a former minister is pronounced guilty by the Apex court in a corruption case.
