Controversial speech: Chief Minister leaves it to EC

Kasargod, Sunday, October 11, 2009: In response to the allegations against his controversial statement, said that he had left the final verdict to Election commission who would be analyzing the complaint in detail.

Speaking to the media after attending a social function here, Chief Minister said that he would abide by the decision of Election commission. He refused to answer further questions in the case.

Chief Minister has given his response after chief election officer of state demanded explanation on his statement. Yesterday, Congress has lodged a complaint to the election commission claiming that the CM had violated the code of conduct during his speech at Thrissur. Congress accuse that through the statements Chief Minister had tried to influence the voters.
