Kochi, Sunday 26 July 2009: Health Minister PK Sreemathi said that controversies over the self-financing agreement is pitiable. She said that the decision was not taken alone by the Education minister. It was an unanimous decision by the sub-committee of the cabinet which included forest minister Binoy Viswam. Later it was from newspaper we came to know that Binoy Viswam was not satisfied with the accord. He has not said this directly to the sub-committee.
Sreemathi said that she is not aware whether Binoy Viswam has given letter after the sub-committee decision. She added that she has not any letter on this regard. Sreemathi said that after all the decisions were taken there is no relevance in giving a letter.
Yesterday, Binoy Viswam said that the self-financing agreement by the government was not satisfying to him as well as to his party.
