Bangalore, Friday, August 27, 2010: The Bangalore Fast track Sessions Court today, is likely to consider the anticipatory bail plea of PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudani for his involvement in the Bangalore serial blast case. Maudani has submitted the bail plea in front of the Fast track Judge Sreekanth Vadavatty.
Maudani has informed in the plea that the case registered against him by the Bangalore police was totally fabricated and that he was innocent in the serial blast case. The Bangalore Metropolitan Magistrate Court had sent Abdul Nazar Maudani, the 31st accused in the Bangalore serial blast case, to judicial custody till September 7th. Maudani was produced before the Court at 5.15 pm yesterday.
The Court had also instructed the Karanataka police to provide proper medical aid for Maudani. Maudani was produced before the Court since his nine-day long remand period would expire today. Maudani has also filed an anticipatory bail plea in the Bangalore Fast track Sessions Court regarding his involvement in the Bangalore serial blast case.
The plea informs that there were no evidences to prove Maudani’s involvement in the Bangalore blast case and hence he must be granted bail.
