Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, November 06, 2009: The Thiruvananthapuram sub court has given orders to auction the luxurious cars and other vehicles owned by Sabarinath, prime accused in Total4u scam.
The auction order was initiated since the Court Receiver administering the wealth of alleged financial fraudster R Sabarinath has initiated proceedings for a public auction of the suspect’s collection of luxury cars and other vehicles.
The vehicles being put up for auction included a Rs.38-lakh BMW car registered in Sabarinath’s name, a Volkswagen Beetle (Rs.28 lakh), a Toyota Lexus (Rs.11 lakh), a Toyota Camry (Rs.22 lakh) bought in the name of Sabarinath’s father Rajan, a Mitsubishi Pajero (Rs.16 lakh), a Honda CRV (Rs.19 lakh), two Lancer Cedia vehicles (Rs.9 lakh each), two Honda Accord cars (Rs.8.25 lakh each), two Skoda cars (Rs.20 lakh each), a classic Vanguard and Ford Anglia (Rs.70, 000 each).
