Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, 24 May 2010: C.P Narayanan has been appointed as Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan’s new political secretary. The CPM state committee meeting held on May 12th had taken the decision regarding the appointment.

The recommendation for the appointment of C.P Narayanan as CM’s new political secretary was made by the CPM state secretariat, which was accepted by the CPM state committee. V.S Achuthanandan had earlier rejected the proposal by the State secretariat.
