Wayanad, Sunday, February 14, 2010: According reports, the CPI (ML) activists have acquired the land belonging to Harrisons Malayalam Plantations again today morning. Five families encroached the land and erected temporary shelters here.

The CPI (ML) men said, the encroaching would continue even if the police arrests its people. Yesterday, estate of Harrisons Malayalam Plantations Limited at Meppadi were encroached by CPI-ML men.

The encroachers hoisted flags and erected temporary sheds here, by afternoon police arrested the men without much resistance.
