Wayanad, Saturday, August 28, 2010: The CPM has decided to continue the land stir held by the Adivasi Kshema Samithi in Wayanad. The decision to continue the stir was taken in the meeting held at CPM district committee office.

Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan had today urged the people of ‘Adivasi Kshema Samithi’ to end the land strike continuing in Wayanad. Achuthanandan affirmed that the State government would provide land for all the land less people within three months.

A new tribunal would be constituted for settling the land cases registered in Wayanad, said Achuthanandan. Achuthanandan also assured speedy remedy to the cases related to encroachments.
