Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, December 02, 2011: The CPM has today sought the removal of Advocate General KP Dandapani for his statement before the Kerala High Court that if the Mullaperiyar dam gives way the Kulamavu, Cheruthoni and Idukki dam can easily accommodated the excess water and that there is no relation between water level and the safety of the dam.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, CPM leader said the AG is working against the interests of the state. VS termed the stand of AG as shocking and said the change in the stand will sabotage the Mullaperiyar case.

The AG, who appeared for the government spoke against them. The attitude of Revenue Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan is equal to that of AG, alleged VS.
