Idukki, Tuesday, February 09, 2010: Keen to save its face in Munnar, the CPM leadership has started an immediate crackdown on its leaders who have accepted Tata’s alms in the Munnar, CPM Idukki district secretary MM Mani today said, the party would seriously discuss the actions of Devikulam MLA S Rajendran who is at present residing in a bungalow owned by Tata company, and so far ha not vacated the house.
MM Mani said, the party acknowledges the lapse in the part of S Rajendran.
MM Mani also added that, if the check dams built by Tata is illegal it must be demolished, but other large scale encroachers should not be allowed to escape.
