Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, February 10, 2012: The city police will be implementing traffic regulations in the city from 1pm today in connection with the concluding rally of 20th CPM state conference.

Vehicles heading towards Thampanoor from MC Road are directed to take deviation at Mannanthala and go via Mukkola, Kudappanakunnu, Peroorkada, Pipinmoodu, Sasthamangalam, Idappazhinji, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud and Thampanoor fly over. Those going the reverse direction must go via Aristo Junction, Model School Junction, Thycaud, Vazhuthacaud, Vellayambalam, Peroorkada, Kudappanakunnu, Mukkola and Mannanthala.

The vehicles coming via NH to Thampanoor are directed to take deviation at Kazhakoottam go to East Fort through the Bypass Road via Chakkai and E0anchakkal. In the reverse direction the motorists have two alternative routes. They can either take the East Fort, Eanchakkal, Vallakadavu, Valiathura, All Saints, Madhavapuram, World Market, Technopark and Kazhakootam route or can head straight towards Kazhakoottam through the Bypass Road after reaching Eanchakkal.

Vehicles going from Nedumangad to East Fort direction must go via Peroorkada, Pipinmoodu, Sasthamangalam, Kochar Road, Idappazhinji, Vazhuthacaud and Thampanoor. Those going from Neyyatinkara to Thampanoor must take the route via Attakulangara, East Fort and Overbridge and vice versa. Vehicles going from Thampanoor to Thiruvallam must go via Thampanoor fly over, Killipalam, Attakulangara, Manacaud and Ambalathara.

Those going to Pappanamcode route from Thampanoor must go via fly over, Killipalam, Karamana route. Motorists heading towards Peroorkada from East Fort should take the route via Attakulangara, Killipalam, Mettukada, Vazhuthacaud, Idappazhinji, Sasthamangalam, Pipinmoodu and Peroorkada. Those going from East Fort to Pettah have to go via Vettimurichakotta, Vazhappalli, Mithranandapuram, SP Fort Hospital, Kaithamukku, Uppilammood and Vanchiyoor.
