Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday 10 June 2009: In a dramatic move against Chief Minister of Kerala VS Achuthanandan, CPM Ministers informed the party state leadership about their disagreement with Chief Minister. The ministers M Vijayakumar, S Sarma, PK Gurudasan were excluded from the rebel group against Kerala Chief Minister.
Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan informed the party leadership that he could not be a part of the state ministry and minister Thomas Isaac met party national leader S Ramachandran Pillai to discuss about the issues regarding the state.
The issues came after the press conference of Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan regarding the cabinet opinion on the Governor’s decision in the prosecution of party state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan in the SNC Lavalin case. In the midst of all high voltage political drama in the State, much to the surprise of other comrades Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan has once again sung a different tone that of his party, after the routine Cabinet meeting speaking to scribes VS Achuthanandan backed the Kerala Governor’s decision to prosecute CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan.
He said, the decision of Governor should not be given wrong interpretations and citing similar decisions made by Governor’s in other State Chief Minister said, its not a surprising decision.
VS Achuthanandan added that, he will not backtrack from his earlier decision.
Refusing to reiterate Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Vaikom Vishwan’s allegations that the Governor has violated constitutional responsibilities, Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan said, close study is needed on this matter.
Yesterday, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Vaikom Vishwan had accused the Governor of throttling the Government.

KODIYERI NEED URGENT DISMISSAL
……………………………
Kodiyeri Balakrishnan needs urgent dismissal from Cabinet for holding a press conference without the concurrence of the CM criticising Governor and his discharge of duties. This is violation of protocol; if dragged to court even his MLAship will be terminated for grave constitutional violation and intimidation of Governor. Whosover, advised Kodiyeri for this act is not at all his friend and well wisher.
