Kannur, Monday, January 10, 2011: A tense situation is prevailing in Aralam, after a clash broke out between the SDPI and CPM activists in Kannur district today. In the scuffle that followed a CPM leader’s shop was completely destroyed by a group of miscreants.

As a protest against this incident the CPM has called for a hartal in Aralam and near by places.
