Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, January 22, 2009: In the backdrop of CBI all set to prosecute those behind the Rs 300-crore SNC-Lavalin scam, the main accused being CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan the available CPM State Secretariat has decided to stand by the leader and fight it out politically. The Secretariat has also found that the CBI findings are baseless.
Yesterday, Addressing a CPM gathering in Thiruvananthapuram, Pinarayi Vijayan’s politburo colleague and Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the CBI had sought permission to prosecute Vijayan. “Pinarayi was falsely implicated in the case to settle scores with the CPM after the party withdrew its support to the UPA government.

Its nt Upa govt but the kerala high court’s order brought CBI to this case..These r just words of a political slave showin loyality to his master..
How did CPM become the richest party in the State? Their fixed assets far exceed those of all other parties put together, it is alleged. It would be interesting to enquire into the sources of funds for acquiring such huge assets. Also, it would be worthwhile investigating to what extent the State CPM leaders follow the Marxist ideology and thought and to what extent they practice what they preach. They ceaselessly blame the West and their way of life, yet would like to get their children educated in Western institutions. They want to see their spouses and children acquire or retain Western citizenship - by birth or by naturalization. Hypocracy, thy name is CPM! Incidentally, how’s the Malabar Cancer Centre faring? How much has Lavlin cotributed, who received it and where it has vanished? I am sure the CBI report will give us a clear clue? Or else why should CPM fear the report so much and make such an unprecedented hue and cry, even before unravelling the full content? Is this Kerala’s Lavlingate? Considering the small size of our State, Nixon’s Watergate now pales into insignificance!
