Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, June 30, 2011: The Communist Party of India (CPM) state secretariat meeting will begin in Thiruvananthapuram today. CPM General Secretary Prakash Karat will attend the meeting. While the state committee meeting will be held on Friday and Saturday at AKG centre here.

The meeting will discuss about the ongoing self-financing issues and the action taken against VV Rameshan in connection the Pariyaram Medical College seat row.

The meeting will also discuss on the disciplinary action that would be initiated against P Sasi regarding the alleged sexual exploitation charges.
