Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, March 12, 2010: After two day marathon meetings the LDF has decided to allot the two Rajya Sabha seats to CPM. The meetings were held as five sessions including today and after a long wait the decision came in favor of CPM.
The RSP had also demanded the allotment of seats, but their demands were not met said the State secretary V.P Ramakrishna Pilla. He added that even though the decision is against RSP, there won’t be any break ups inside the LDF.
The RSP’s demand was allotment of anyone of the seats among the two seats of Rajya Sabha, but the CPM were not keen to share the seats with RSP. This issue made the decision pending for so long.
