Kozhikode, Friday, January 06, 2012: The police recovered a crude bomb from the panchayat office in Kozhikode on Friday morning, sources said. The bomb was first noticed by the office staff who immediately informed the matter to the police.

The bomb was later defused by bomb squad. According to police the bomb was not of high intensity.
