Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday 5 July 2009: Unidentified body of a 40-year-old man was found on the outskirts of the state capital here on Sunday. The incident was reported from Kovalam.

According to the police, local people saw the body near a tunnel near Kovalam Azhakulam irrigation canal today morning. After which the police reached the site of the incident. During the initial investigation it came to light that the victim had injuries on his body.

Police later sent the body for the postmortem examination and investigations were on. Investigations were also on with regards to the identification of the victim.
