New Delhi, Saturday, October 01, 2011: A special Delhi court has deferred the bail plea hearing of DMK MP Kanomozhi, who has been in Tihar jail since May 20 for her alleged role in the 2G spectrum scam, till October 17.

Kanimozhi, the daughter of former Tamil Nadu chief minister Karunanidhi, applied for bail on September 16 at aspecial Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court along with Kalaignar TV managing director Sharad Kumar, on the grounds that charges were not yet framed and they should be granted bail as per the Supreme Court order.
