Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, January 29, 2010: The CPM state secretariat, which met here prior to the LDF meet, has opined that the Tata’s check dam without clearance in the ecological fragile land.
The secretariat has also decided to intensify the anti encroachment drive in Munnar.

Meanwhile leader of opposition Oommen Chandy said, if the government does a commendable job in Munnar the opposition wouldn’t hesitate to laud its efforts, however hard the Chief Minister tries to hide his failures he would eventually fail to do that.
Both encroachment and settlement of the land should be viewed separately, Oommen Chandy added.
