Kottayam, Monday, February 08, 2010: Around two hundred detonators were seized from Mukkada near Erumeli today. The detonators wrapped in plastic bags were found in an abandoned state in Cheruppaly estate. Among this twenty detonators were in active state.

The plastic bags were first noticed by estate workers who later informed estate authorities and then to police.

Police, dog squad, anti sabotage team and forensic experts who arrived at the scene said, a sabotage cannot be ruled out since the place is under controversy.
