Palode, Friday, 19 November 2011: Two workers identified as Nasimudeen and Shylakumar died after inhaling poisonous gas while cleaning a poultry farm septic tank at Myladi in Karimoncode on Friday night.

Fire and rescue personnel informed that the both fainted after inhaling the poisonous gas in the septic tank. Another employee (Thulasi) was rescued from the site by a person. But other two died of suffocation.

The fire force team from Nedumangadu and Kadakkal and police together took the dead bodies of two workers. The rescued worker Thulasi was admitted at Palode Government hospital.

The dead bodies of two workers shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Medical college mortuary.
