Alappuzha, Wednesday, 14 April 2010: Two died in a road mishap near Cherthala Railway station, here early this morning. One of the deceased has been identified as Shaji, Valanjavattam near Thiruvalla . And the other person is yet to be identified.

The accident occurred when the car which came from Nedumbasseri airpot collided with a lorry. The lorry driver did not stop after the accident instead kept driving. It was after the arrival of Fire force the bodies were taken out of the car.

In a separate incident, Sebastin of Pollath was killed, at around 10, last night due to a two- wheeler accident near Thumboli.
