Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, June 04, 2010: Revenue Minister K.P Rajendran today told that an early warning system would be launched as part of the Disaster Management projects in the State. Minister Rajendran was inaugurating the early warning system and VHF based communication system in Collectorate, Thiruvananthapuram.

Minister added that this communication system would link 200 villages, 63 taluk offices and 14 district collectorates together. Surendran Pilla MLA presided over the function.

State law Minister M. Vijayakumar, Sambath MP, Revenue Department Principal secretary Niveditha P. Haran, G. Karthikeyan MLA also attended the function.
