Kozhikode, Friday, April 22, 2011: A woman and a girl were drowned while bathing in a lake near Kundamangalam in Kozhikode district today. The deceased are Sreeja (32), wife of Amarakattu Bhaskaran and her niece.

The incident occurred around 1:30 pm. The bodies have been kept at Kozhikode Medical College.
