Kochi, Thursday, March 18, 2010: The DYFI party members strongly protested against the Milma price hike in Ernakulam district. The party members protested by forcefully entering the Milma office in Edappally.

The price of milk and curd was hiked to rupees 2 and 1 per litre. The price hike of milk in the Ernakulam district was decided in the ruling committee meeting which was held a week ago. The price hike came to effect from yesterday. The Kerala State Minister for Food and Civil supplies, C. Divakaran told that, legal actions would be taken against Milma for hiking the price of milk without the consent of the government.
