Kochi, Friday, July 16, 2010: The Ernakulam ADM (Additional District Magistrate) today imposed a ban on Popular Front freedom parade, which was to be held in Aluva on August 15th. The Ernakulam ADM has imposed a ban on the freedom parade following the reports by the Intelligence agency that the parade would affect the law and order situation in the area.

A notice directing Popular Front to stop practice for freedom parade was filed by the police considering attack on college professor. Notice has been given under section 15 (A) of police act, banning practice-using weapons. The ban on the freedom parade has been imposed for a period of three months.
