Kasargod, Friday 14 January 2010: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan admitted the Endosulfan tragedy in Kasargod is a fault of the government machinery. Inaugurating the compensation distribution for the Endosulfan victims here on Friday, Chief Minister said both the Kerala and Central governments are equally responsible for this.

Taking on the Central government, Achuthanandan opined that the fate of Endosulfan victims at Kasargod has failed to open the eyes of the union government.

“The sad fate of Endosulfan has opened the eyes of the whole world, but failed to give light to the eyes of the union government.”
