Kozhikode, Thursday, November 25, 2010: State Agriculture Minister Mullakkara Ratnakaran today said that the action would be taken against public sector institutions if they use endosulfan in State.

Speaking to the mediapersons in Kozhikode, the Minister said that an order would be issued to stop usage of the harmful pesticide endosulfan. He said that this order would be announced on December 3 at Kasargod.

The Minister also added that the States must be given the right to take case on those who use endosulfan.
