Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, 26 May 2010: Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan declared rice at the rate of Rs.2 for the families of victims of Endosulfan tragedy. He was briefing the reporters after the cabinet.

Achuthanandan also said that an amount of Rs. 400 would be allotted for physically-mentally handicapped in addition to the present pension benefits. An allowance of Rs. 1000 would be given per month for the bedridden and Rs 300 for their bystanders.

Chief Minister also informed that trolling ban would be implemented from June 15th to July 31st.
