Evidences should be produced tomorrow: HC  

Kochi, Wednesday, November 26, 2008: While considering the plea moved by the defense council and after going through the case diary submitted by CBI, the Kerala High Court referring to the suicide of VV Augustine said, the suicide shouldn’t affect the progress of investigation. The Court said, suicides are one’s personal choice and the other versions given to it are baseless.

The Court also asked the CBI to submit all evidences it collected till now against the accused the evidences should be produced before Court in a sealed envelope.

The CBI lawyer informed the Court that the accused are been sent to custody based on solid proof but the defence lawyer maintained that the CJM Court has left the accused in CBI custody without solid evidence.

The CBI also said that Father Thomas Kottoor one the main accused in the case is not co-operating with the investigations and is trying to sabotage the probe by giving conflicting statements.

The case would come for further hearing on Friday.
