Kottayam, Wednesday, January 13, 2010: District Collector Mini Antony has submit preliminary report to revenue principal secretary regarding the road crash near Erumealy , lead to the death of Ayyappa devotees.

Lost of break is the reason for the havoc , report describes this was prepared by considering the words of the passengers.

Primary investigation says that, the diseased persons were strangled under sand sacks and that led to their death.

Postmortem works of the deceased persons has completed today.
Driver escaped from the spot after the accident has happened.

Four persons were seriously injured in the accident.

The Ayyappa devotees, who died yesterday, were set out their journey on 6th January . There were 45 persons in the truck .

Majority of the passengers are labours of a rice mill at Andhra Pradesh and they are relatives too.
