Kozhikode, Sunday, August 29, 2010: Flight operations at the Calicut International Airport were disrupted for the second day due to inclement weather forcing the authorities to divert a flight to the nearby airport today.
Airport sources said Ethihad flight 250 from Abu Dhabhi scheduled to arrive at 0400 hrs this morning was diverted to Nedumbassery International Airport due to poor visibility caused by bad weather.
However, the flight was returned at 0900 hrs after improvement in the weather conditions, the sources said.
Five flights from different destinations were diverted to Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin and Coimbatore airports due to bad weather yesterday.
