Mysore, Friday 03 July 2009: Fresh clashes occurred on Thursday night at Udayagiri in Mysore wherein two people were stabbed. They are now recovering in a hospital.

The police have clamped prohibitory orders and special forces have been called in.

Communal clashes broke out in Mysore on Thursday killing three people, including a 14-year-old boy, when police fired to bring the clashes under control.

The clashes between two communities were reported near a mosque in Udayagiri. Two men were injured — they died later in hospital. Police resorted to several rounds of lathicharge to bring the situation under control.
