Kochi, Thursday, 05 January 2012: Officials of the Department of Revenue Intellegence at the Nedumbasseryi airport today seized gold worth 36 lakh and arrested one passenger, Althaf Shahul Hameed haling from Srilanka when he was trying to smuggle out gold without declaring it.
The seized gold which was valued Rs.36 lakh in the Indian market.
